Hi Devoted Readers of A Bibliophile’s Reverie

Even though the Lestat Book Coven discussions are on hiatus this week due to my writer’s retreat, I decided to do these light blog posts daily to help countdown the next seemingly twenty-three long, interminable wait for the release of the sixth and final book in The Mortal Instruments series- City of Heavenly Fire.

These posts will be pithy in nature, in order to give my readers just a small, sizable enough dose of Mortal Instrument goodness  to tide them over till May 27th, which will come about in twenty three days or less from now.

There may be giveaways and other unannounced surprises in the intervening days to come before May 27th, but most likely you’ll be lucky to just get a daily dose of something either insanely eccentric or clever, relating to my fervor for Cassandra Clare’s awesome series

But mostly, I will be revealing small clues sprinkled throughout the Infernal Devices and Mortal Instruments, relying upon image, quotes songs that are from either series or relate loosely/metaphorically to themes, conflicts, subplots from either series, that may help you think closely and speculatively about important things to come!

Day 2: May 6th, 2013

Ponder the song for a few moments, and think how it might very loosely connect with some  potential subplot in City of Heavenly Fire? (I haven’t read the book either, purely conjectural fun from my end!)

Come back tomorrow for Day 3’s potential clue, and conjecture away in the comment section!

Will you deduce correctly? (Am I deducing correctly, since I haven’t read the book either?)
